Say and tell have similar meanings. They both mean to communicate verbally with someone. But we often use them differently.

Also, we have distinguish & distinction
have a same meaning (comparing between 2 things) for example: we make distinction between female & male employees. we can distinguish between female & male employees. **** |
Acronym and abbreviation UN is an abbreviation.. read it as single letter U N Acronym is also has the same meaning as abbreviation, but NATO is acronym because we read it as a word. |
see red - furious
these 2 words mean being angry - i really see red when someone Lies to me - i become a furious when someone lies to me |
